Braising steak is a great value cut of meat from the shoulder and is perfect for slow cooking or casseroles. While gently simmering away, braising steaks release a pot full of flavour and make winter a little more bearable.
Just add this beef to your favourite vegetables and sauce, and cook slowly for a couple of hours. To keep the meat juicy and full of flavour, simply heat up a little oil and brown each steak before stewing.
